I love the veggie supreme! So good and loaded with veggies! This is a big plus for a vegetarian

I ordered a large pepperoni pizza, a large meat lovers pizza and a small veggie supreme pizza from the specialty menu, as well as cinnamon dots. Everything was great! The staff were friendly and professional. I ordered take-out, but the dining room looked like a nice place for a relaxing dinner.

The daily special is always great....2 slices and a fountain drink for $5.00....life is good. The staff here is always super with service .

If you want real pizza or calzones....this isn't the place. The pasta dinners make Stouffer's frozen lasagne look gourmet. Pizza is often cardboard like and overcooked. Tasteless crust and flavorless sauce. Prices are cheap, I am assuming that is the attraction. Often times counter staff has a bit of an attitude ( the 2 I encountered were having a personal conversation and finished it before acknowledging my existence). I would rather cook dinner than eat out here again.

Went in on Sunday as a group of 4. We ordered 2 large pizzas. The pizzas came out fast by the cook who took pride in her pizzas. They looked good and tasted good too. The meat lovers wasn't skimpy on the meat. The staff was nice. I was happy we decided to stop here and support a local restaurant. Edit-We shared 2 desserts that were both very good. My friend said it was the best cake he has had.

This place is horrible. I'm not sure how the heck this received 4 out of 5 stars. I read the reviews and was all excited. I got the chicken parm, pizza and garlic bread. All things mentioned in these rave reviews. Seriously microwave or cafeteria food tastes better then this. It was so gross. I feel totally shammed and suspect these are fake reviews. Horrible horrible food.

The food was excellent, but when I tried to tip the waitstaff with my debit card, I was informed that the establishment couldn't allow it. This struck me as a policy that the ownership or management instituted as a result of a personal opinion regarding necessary gratuity. To that point, I'd like to say that I don't tip because I have to; I tip to recognize good service. I should mention that there was a tip jar for cash contributions, but at the time, I did not have the means to demonstrate my appreciation in that fashion. If I had known I couldn't tip with my debit card, I wouldn't have come in. The option should be available, even if it's discouraged. In the end (and as always), it's the customer's choice.

I like hoagies and really happy there is one near to where I work. The cheesy breadsticks at hoagies are really awesome, ask for meat sauce with it! They are homemade and delicious! I also really enjoy Hawaiian pizzas from here! Peanut butter pie is yum, always get a slice to go! They have some really good weekly specials. I like how the customers can pour their own drinks, get a cup and use the fountain. I usually get fruit punch, lemonade, sprite mix with ice. You get your own utensils here and order at the front counter. Customer service is really good here, very nice and friendly. I've been going to hoagies for a while with only one issue, which is really good for 20+ visits! Our cheese was falling off the pizza and was being quite difficult, but the pizza was still very yummy.

Hoagie's Pizza & Pasta does it right. Walk in even when they are busy & they aim to please. The staff is happy & customer focused. The Garlic Bites were hot, puffy, very tasty! The Veggie pizza was loaded with toppings & cooked perfectly. Their wings looked hot & huge (we did not order them but a table over from us did & thoroughly enjoyed them, I asked!). My friend left an small item on the table & our waitress ran out to give it to us. Very good desserts. YUM. Not your average pizza place. If only it was closer to where I lived bummer.

Having moved away from Vermont, this is the restaurant I miss the most. It has very good food at reasonable prices. It's nothing fancy. But when I just want a good meal without breaking the bank, I think of Hoagie's.

We love Hoagies! The pizza is always good. The pasta is usually good. My favorite pizza in all of Chittenden County is Hoagies and Leonardo's. Hoagies happens to be closer to home and has seating. The employees here are always happy and always pleasant. There is absolutely nothing I can say negative about this place.

We ordered wings from here. (as well as a couple other items) We hesitated at the price of the wings originally because they were more expensive than other restaurants in the area. We thought we would just bite the bullet and pay a little more because we figured they would be better quality wings. WHAT.....A......MISTAKE...... First off, the wings were small and a HUGE disappointment for the price. The second, bigger problem? When we got home and opened the box, we only had 10 wings not the dozen promised. (and stated on the menu) Normally, I'd let it go, but the wings cost almost DOUBLE the competitors!! So, to add insult to injury, we called Hoagie's and the employee there told us "our normal order of wings is 10". When we stated the MENU said "one dozen" wings, she said "the menu was wrong" and it was "our problem". Great customer service huh? I wrote an e-mail to the owner and never even got a reply back. BEWARE of this business!! Even the picture they have posted is misleading!! It's taken from the widest angle possible and does NOT accurately reflect how small the place really is. I will never, EVER come back.

Anything you decide to order from the menu is sure to please! Switchback on draft, and a real pizzeria feel. Ask for the cheeseburger pizza... it's yummy! Everyone is super friendly & accommodating. Even when they are busy, they roll with it & take good care of you.

I was craving Eggplant Parmagiana, and we were heading over to Mimmo's when we spotted Hoagie's -- so we turned around and came in. It's not gourmet, but it does well what it sets out to do, which is provide a tasty meal at a killer-low price. Super casual, the decor is a little dated and generic, but the place is clean. Service was pleasant and friendly -- they seemed to know a lot of the customers, and the food came out quickly. We split a Greek salad for $6.49 -- very generous with the diced tomatoes and canned olives. Dressing was nice and bright, and the feta was tasty -- but nothing terribly unique. (I have a feeling that most of the food here comes from a restaurant-supply store, and then they doctor it up here with fresh herbs and veggies.) I got my eggplant parm ($8.49), which tasted fresh and house-made, but I found the marinara sauce a little too sweet; it seemed to have a lot of sugar in it. My husband's chicken parm with meat sauce ($8.29) was better. The sauce was very well flavored and rich, but not cloyingly so -- the chicken was tasty and cooked just right, not too tough or dry. The sauces here are American style, though, not authentic Italian -- but they are good for what they are. (Note: on our next visit, I asked for the eggplant parm but with the meat sauce that comes with the chicken parm -- they were kind enough to oblige me, and it was just what I wanted.) And the cheezy garlic bread was perfect: not too heavy on the greasy cheese, though some slices I found to be a bit too salty. It comes with the pasta dishes, but you can order it separately for $1.89. The bread seems freshly baked -- can't wait to try a hoagie on it! Again -- not gourmet, but quite good for the prices! A 2-topping 14' pizza is $11.99, and you can get a cheese burger with fries for $6.89. On Sunday, you can have all you-can-eat pasta (Spaghetti or ziti with meatballs, mushrooms, or sausage) for $6.29!!! You can't beat that with a stick! We'll be back to try the pizza and hoagies, so stay tuned...

Hoagies is a small and great little Italian place! I have been here ALOT this past summer and I go here a few times through out the year. Service: The service here has ALWAYS been great. I have been here more times than I can count! Its small and family ran. So while going here your also shopping locally! Never a bad thing. Now this past summer we would call just about every Tuesday a to go order! Its done very well! We would then go and pick it up and the order was always correct and done right. So after a while we just stop checking it when we picked it up. I also go there every now and then with my office. We go with about 5-6 people on avg and we all show up around the same time. We all order and we then find our own table. The food is always done correct and comes out quickly. The staff is always friendly here! Never had any bad run in with the service! They are on their game here! Food: I have had everything from their wraps to the pizza! I love their wraps, steak and cheese sub, and garlic bread! I didn't care to much for the pizza though. To me it just seems sorta plain. Even with different toppings. So I just done get it. I do on the other hand have people in my office who order nothing but their pizza when we go out. So definitely check it out! Plus the portions are more than fair here! Price: In most cases you can get a meal and a drink for less than $10.00. Its a very good deal! I know they also have a lunch special that's $4.35 for a drink and 2 slices of pizza. Over All: I have been going here for years and i will continue to do so! I enjoy our time here and supporting a local place is always good by me! If your in the area and want some good cheap Italian check it out! Good 4/5! I will continue to return here! I recommend! They have something for everyone!

This is a good casual place to get a meal in a relaxed area. The food is pretty good and reasonably priced. When you first walk in, you go to the counter and order your food and then sit down and get served. Again, it is quite casual, but great for quick, tasty food.
